We receive many enquiries every week from people who would like to visit us.

There are several ways you can come and visit Børneøen Bonsai.

Short visit

We offer a short visit programme that includes a guided tour of our garden, forest, and facilities in Charlottenlund, followed by a meeting with plenty of opportunity for questions. The visit is designed for groups of 2–20 people and typically takes place from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.

Longer visit

If you want to go more in depth and gain a deeper understanding of what it is like to work outdoors with children every day, you are welcome to join one of our courses. These courses offer ample time for reflection, observation, presentations, and workshops focusing on early childhood education and everything we do here at Børneøen Bonsai.

At the moment, we offer a Course in Nordic early childhood and forest education where you can experience first-hand how nature education can help you build resilience within yourself as a teacher or educator, as well as within the children you work with.

It is also possible to tailor a visit according to a specific theme that matches your needs and interests. Visits should be booked well in advance.
